This BBQ sauce was first introduced in 1959 due to a family member who was allergic to liquid smoke. Most sauces back then had that ingredient, as many still do today. Over the years this sauce has been revised for flavor and quality using nothing but natural ingredients. It was decided to name the sauce after the family ranch. The Diamond J cattle ranch was established in 1943 and was located in the Yuba County, California foothills near the small town of Browns Valley. The Diamond J sauce is ideal for all types of meat including poultry and fish and is known for the flavor and tenderness it adds to pork and beef.
